i just thought it would be a good idea to create a equipment review forum...
just my 2cents... dont hurt me ))))`

I actually find that pretty good because when i first started my FH hobby i was curious as to what to feed them and had the best results. I also had questions relating with filters and what not.

well i guess admin isnt condisering our plee,
i hate going to other forums about other fish like oscars just to get tips, reviews, opinions on types of filters, food and etc....

but i guess thats what we all have to do

i'm not sure that is the case jai..andy is probably really busy with other things..he'll respond asap

having the proper equipments is what benefits a fish. like any other fish, the proper equipments to have is nessesary for all fishes, not just for FH. proper filtering for the size tank u have..( the more water it filters the better) heaters, if u want, air stones, gravel, decor's, etc.

like any other fishes.. they all need the same assistances. water changes, anit-chlorine, etc.

every tank needs a filter and heater.. if u want to add more to help ur fish.. go ahead.. airstone, decor, gravel, powerhead, etc.

if u have any concerns just drop a note in our general questions.. some1 with be happy to assists ur need.



thats why we have the general question thread.. u will be able to ask any question/ concerns about anything relating to ur fish.

like i say proper caring for ur fish/FH is filters, heaters, water changes.. wateva makes ur fish happy..

but i did run into a little prob in the general forum...
from my experience i dont know about others, but after posting a topic i noticed nobody responded or it would take awhile for somebody to respond...

i also noticed that hardly anyone talks about equip like filters or the like... everybody seems to be an "expert" flower horn keeper with a "top grade" fish with huge tanks blah blah blah...

i just wanted to see a forum with topics like....
"what would you recommend... and xp3 or fluval 404"...

Or people just posting up reviews of equipment they just bought...
"my experience with an ac500 and emp400"

i think topics like these deserve a specific place to be posted...

no tat is not true.. because.. i remember a member ( powerlodix) had a concern about which filter to buy.. and we he a number of responses and feedbacks

so if u give it a try and post in our general question.. some1 will be happy to respond.. since we're still a new community..we are getting more and more members by the day.. some1 will definitely help u.

the general question forum is created for any topics related to fish.. its either filters, tanks, tankmates, heaters, what so ever... even though it may take a while to get a response but sooner or later some1 will respond to ur Q.
