Nice Ranchu Bro I use to raise, breed Ranchu he has a smooth back nice tail set head will grow if fed large amounts of protien and veggiesare important spirulins is great for ranchu. check out some of my ranchu in this section. Is still one of my favorite fish I rased them for twenty years or so. good luck with him. not many places in the USA have great quality in Japan and Thailand great one's. Thai ranchu centre is good. Here in USA a good place is goldfish passion he sells online and has a website www.goldfishpassion.com. they are bred to look like a Japanese coin and also resemble sumo wrestlers in Japan and are called the King of Goldfish in japan. And command High prices and fierce competition where rivals guard secrets and try to out do each other in these shows. Ranchu in Japan are viewed and judged from above in these competitions. I wish you luck as I gave up afer twenty years as they are really fragile and not tough like everyone believes. Swimbladder and headstanding are a big problem with this breed .
