With so many abbreviations used by FH enthusiasts, it is so helpful that you've posted a number of the most common ones so beginner enthusiasts can understand these lingos. Thanks for taking the time to help us all.

fish are always changing in the flowerhorn industry so for 2009, look out for some KM
which stands for kamfaMonkey
they are kamfa and comes from the line of a modern Golden monkey who does not reproduce pure but a mixture of all kinds of strains of flowerhorn to make the monkey.
the distinct feature of this kind is the wrap tail, pearls from the texas line, tall wide body of the gm and the cute facial of a bottle nose dolphin with an even closed mouth. Also red eye to give a better chance in the fertility line.
I can not advertise here but the pictures are online somewhere

I see the abbreviation FKK a lot, but I don't know what it stands for...
Does the KK at the end of it mean King Kamfa? If so, what does F stand for?
Thanks...

Oh, wow! So FHUSA has a strain of its own? All the FKKs I've seen around are really awesome, by the way!
If you don't mind me asking, who are the breeders behind this awesome strain?
Thanks, sir. =D
Soo many strains to choose from,
but the main characteristics of
FH enthusiasts are the Kok, plums, & pearls
the most unique the better
Thanks for the info

To see some of the older strains you might try to find one of those old school green flowerhorn poster or you can try looking around for old books on flowerhorn.
Most of the newer and popular strains can be seen here:
