It looks more like a midas/rd to me than a flowerhorn.

Yeah, he looks alot like a wild colored Midas. It's not that he's fading, that black on his body is his base color underneath the scales.

I was also thinking wild midas, but there is also blue pearling on his sides....so who knows......my son really liked it so i bought it......just trying to get some ideas on what he might be
