This is their 2nd successful batch of babies.
By far the most discus babies that I've ever produce from a pair of discus. I am guessing a little over a hundred here. smile.gif

The female is a mandarin passion or red passion x with my fine line red turquoise male.

Last one for now.
Hope they will grow bigger and nicer than their older bros and sis. 4.gif

Thanks for looking fellas!!!

Hey Dan,

You are more than welcome to come by again and check out my other breeding projects.
Just give me a holler. thumbsup.gif

Oh yeah, my other joy had produced two babies but it's totally well worth it. I am so thrilled to see some frys in the caves.
I am talking about my L46 zebras. smile.gif
I took them out a few days ago and they are now in a small five gallon tank by themselves.
So cute little zebras. They are still sucking their egg yolk suc.
It takes about 3 weeks before they can finish sucking it.
Totally fascinating plecos.

how much for a baby discus ? what are their sizes ?
amazing_betta
More black and white stripes!!!

They are almost quarter size now. I don't have any snake skins or leopards.
They are high end discus and are still sensitive. In addition, they are still unstable and does not produced 100% snakes kins or leopards broods.
I am selling my babies for $10 a piece.
I only have 25 pcs available minus 10 pcs to reserve my aquabid auction.
So, there are now 15 pcs left for sale.

Thanks,
Lauro

OMG!!!! I can't believe you're breeding zebra plecos!!! I tried to breed them and spent a ton of money on a trio and kept them for over 8 months with no activity. I had 1 male and two females but no luck. Then one day, there was a major outage in our area and I came back home to two dead zebras and only 1 female was alive.

I still have that female and want to breed her but can't find anyone with adult males. Would you consider selling one of your males or better yet, would you be up to do a trade for my female in exchange for some of your baby L46's???? She's in great condition. If not, I'd be more than happy to purchase some baby zebras from you.

I'm located in California...where are you at?? Also, I am very interested in your cherry shrimp that you are selling on the marketplace. Unfortuntely, I don't have access to pm since I don't have enough posts. PLEASE EMAIL ME at: dkc111@yahoo.com.

Thanks!!!!!

wow those zebras looks nice. im willing to pick then up if anyone is selling
amazing_betta
Sorry fellas,
Zebras are not for sale. Those are my wife's precious collections.
She has 29 total, 17 wilds, 10 F1s and her two new addition F1s.

They are all still young and only about 2 to 3 years of age. They don't mature and start full time breeding yet until they are 4 to 5 years of age.

I guess once they are full time breeders and produce tons of frys, then I might be able to sell to some zebra lovers here.

Thanks,
Lauro <><

the zebra are very nice.

as for the discus. the pair themselve you could tell are some nice quality.

I think on the fry though you will get a bunch of dirty mellon looking fish. Since the pigeon blood gene is very strong...
