HAWKEYE
Just wanted to say a quick hello to all because it has been so long since I have written on here. I have been disgustingly busy this summer with marriage, honeymoon to Alaska which was UN-FREAKING-BELEIVABLE!!!!!, and moving into our new house.

I am sad to report that I currently have zero flowerhorns but I have fallen back into love with discus. Here are some shots of my 125 gallon which is now a South American discus community. I have over 40 cardinal tetras, 3 pigeon blood discus, 2 red dragon discus (same as pigeon blood except they have more blue spots), 4 cobalt discus, 1 Marlboro Red aptly named Joe Camel, 3 regular bushy nose plecos, and one white seam bushy nose. There are very limited shots of the discus but they are in quarantine and I didn't want to spook them too much.

The pics of the pigeon bloods were taken 1 hour after introduction and they have proven to actually be an amazingly hardy fish! Discus are my new infatuation I am afraid and they are just as expensive as flowerhorns ranting2.gif !!!

Here is the other thing that has kept us extremely busy.

I wish you all the absolute best and I hope to start coming on this board a little more again. Have a great weekend friends.

hey mike nice to have you back bro!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and wait until I post pics of all the discus in a few months. Some of the smaller guys are having a hard time right now but they are coming around and their color is amazing.

Moose (the lab puppy) is now 4 months old and he is a monster dog. My family used to own a kennel when I was in high school and I was the head trainer after I graduated so I have owned over 20 labs and ran them in hunting tests/field trials. This puppy is hands down the easiest going and smartest one I have ever had. He is young and I can leave him in the house all night with no problems. We can't keep him out of the water either!

That's a beautiful tank Mike, great to hear that all is well with you. I too am getting used to the surroundings here in Arizona and getting used to the warm weather. Good to see you around these parts. Take care brother.
