I don't like the first one bc it looks like an older generation of zz, but the rest of the fh looks great i like the hybrid one bc it looks different from the rest

the first one is really special..not strain wise, but cause he is my sweet pie smile.gif ..... he takes food from my hand and does not bite me..lolz..he is very tame.... smile.gif

the hybrid was an impulsive buy, but he is nice... was planning to return him, but i dint smile.gif.. he stays wink.gif

i plan to feed them ching mix maxima + head booster..... i was just wondering how many pellets should i feed every day?
sqwat
Feed the pelets twice a day only what they will eat in two minuts remove uneaten this is necesary because they rot like other foods.and u should feed a frozen live fresh or soft type of food once a day because it will help digest the pellets.shorty has a different looking kok got anymore pics of him?
FHCRAZY
thank u for the reply smile.gif
i feed them home made mutton heart with the pellets.....

another pic of shorty..

I'm looking at these pics on a blackberry cell phone so I guese it looked doubled just on the first piv.he looks stressed who is in the tank with him? He has good potential and imm sure he looks better when those stress bars disapear.gl were are u from? Canu get live or fresh wild shrimp by u?just asking cause that with ching or heifeng is the best combo! Color and kok look best with that diet be sure not to over feed leave him hungry .I feed a little bit of each food 3 times a day.a no food and no light just a blue led light for 36 to 48.this rest period I have been trying the past 2 months witg great results.he looks best after th rest and just keeps looking better each time.ur fish won't starve at all prob live longer two.gl

The first few pictures of your fish reminded me how I started in the flowerhorn hobby back in 1999. The last fish you have is fantastic! Fish like that hard to come by where you live?

Wow, Thumper is pretty!
FHCRAZY
thank u everyone.. biggrin.gif

shorty is alone in the tank..he has those bars since the time i got him... i dint realise they could be stress bars, although he doesn't act stressed smile.gif

thumper (the last one) is my favorite one.. i stay in India.. i picked him up for $125..he is a little expensive but worth every penny smile.gif

i fed all of them, every 4-5 hours.... i also feed prawns/shrimp ,fresh ones but not alive...
i got some dragon food from all of them yesterday (valueplus) i made some fresh mutton heart for all of them yesterday
sqwat
Sośnds good.

shorty's teeth look overgrown..here is a picture.. can u please tell me if this is normal for a growing FH?

sqwat
That's normal mine has fangs just like that
FHCRAZY
he has just started growing teeth! none of my full grown FH have such teeth.. + shorty loves snapping and biting tongue.gif
FHCRAZY
i figured out why shorty is stressed..... faith is next to his tank.. i shall put a visual barrier smile.gif
