Well I got my 55gal. Discus tank up and running... I'm now a very proud owner of 11 Jack Taylor's "Discus_KC" home grown Discus... I got a chance to pick them up from him and see his Awesome Fish Room... Wow!!! I have never seen so many stunning fish in my life... Here's what I have now...
2-2"Red Covers
2-2"Leopard Snakeskin
2-3"& 4"Golden
1-3"Cobalt
2-3"& 4"Santarem
1-4"Red Turq.
1-4"Pigeon Blood

wow, really nice. i love to have a tank of discuss too but then water at my place is really hard for discuss. im having 3 cobalt around 4" ( grow from 2" or a litle bigger), but they always show black stripes.....i believe my ph is aorund 7.5 average and change water frequently.......can you share how you do with the water hardness? ( i heard some ppl use drink water for their discuss tank--->will be insane cost to me). thx

I use API tap water conditioner and tap water... My ph out of the tap is so high it's off the chart... My tank ph is around 7... I'm looking into getting a RO "Reverse osmosis" water filter system... That is the best way to go... If you plan on trying to breed Discus an RO system is a must...

very nice set up u should use a nice back ground wall paper to bring the tank out even more good jobs man and thanks for sharing...
