i just wanna know if the method between a normal flowerhorn on how to determine the gender the same thing for the short body flowerhorn??? if not, how to determine it?? thankx in advance

It should be exactly the same but every fish different. The 100% way to find out is to pair it up with a larger male divided and see if the tube drops and lays eggs.

Oh, I live in Bulacan, so I have very limited choice on FH. I know about ten LFS in nearby towns, but seldom do they sell really high-end FH.

But if you live near the Metro Mnila area, then I suggest you go to Cartimar. I've been there, and their pet selection is complete and is just awesome. I tell you this, if you can't find it in Cartimar, you won't find it anywhere else.

oh, yea ive been there when i was in the philippines. i miss those days, i use to have a big aquarium there buh then its full of fancy goldfish, i didnt even know anything about "cichlids" b4. now that im here in the US, im living in an apartment that dont allow big aquarium. i only have 60 gal aquarium. how much are flowerhorn over there? and i heard they sell ocean free humpy head there? ive been looking for that here buh they're out of stock lol
