I recently moved the flowerhorn fry to a new tank so that he can go solo, is it normal for him to only eat a few even after 4 days in the new tank? I already put angel drops stressout and vita for him to get accustomed. Is what I'm doing right or am i doing something wrong?

It is perfectly normal for your FH to not eat after being moved to a new tank, Kapatid. There is actually no need for medication. Although FHs are known to be adaptable fishes, some actually take days or weeks to adjust to their new environment. If ever he doesn't eat, don't you worry, FHs are hardy fishes. There is one instant in this site where a member's fish has not eaten for 2 weeks, but came out alright in the end. smile.gif

Good luck, Kapatid, and keep us posted! smile.gif

Anyone have other suggestions?

What size is his new tank? How many gallons, temperature, filtration, gravel, background? Where is the tank located? Busy foot traffic area or isolated? All these could be affecting him in some way.

His new tank is a 10 gallon tank, which is outside where it gets sunlight, people tend to walk there, it has some gravel for him to play with, it has dark blue coral background and it's about 5 days since i moved him there

10gl tank is a bit small for a flowerhorn. How are the water parameters? Filtration? Maybe it will just take him a couple of more days to get used to it.
