Is breeding flowerhorns as easy as breeding midas?

it all depends on how well you taske care of them. and if they are fertile... some flowerhorns r not able to produce eggs or seman... i learned that one the hard way hahah.... plus you do not want to breed them too young i wait til they hit 7 inch for male and 5 for female...

may i ask why u dont want to breeed them at a young age.?

breeding flowerhorns. I find it about the same as the midas. I got to ask what is it about breeding is it that you really want to know? is it the sexing or at what age or size.

I have 3 different batches of babys from 3 different pairs and they all are doing very well.

I was wondering if they pair up as easy as midas I only have one batch with parents but were geting a new tank and were either going to breed texas or flowerhorn in that tank I have another tank that i put african cichlids in but its to small to breed.

I know breeding texas are alway a good choice. if I had to pick one or the other I would go with the texas. even better to breed pure texas
