a friend of mines has a female thai silk.. I was wondering if a male RD and female silk would make a good pair and nice looking frys?

what do u guys think? would this be worth to try? and what would they look like?

I would like to see the fish you are trying to breed. Their genetics will play a big part of what you will see in the fry. You will get some that will pull more directly from the father and others that will pull from the mother's side. You will see a mix of the two with a mix of the couple's features. Such as mother's body and pearling but the father's head... So pics of the parents would help. The pics below will show you what I mean.

Off spring from the same batch. Male #1 pulled more from the mother side. Some the father traits came out when he became full grown.

Male #2 pulled more from the father's side.
