In trying to keep a little variety in his diet, is it ok to feed him raw fresh shrimp? He has been eating Hikari pellets and I gave him some shrimp last night which he loved. I just want to make sure this is ok with flowerhorns.

yes it's good for them if not too much... just feed your fish with shrimps every other day as fillers or give it between each meals... it helps with natural coloration of the fish. thumbsup.gif

It's safe to feed to your FH. Only downside it make the water dirty

Oh yes, raw shrimp is great. Mine love it. I feed it to all my fish.
