See an add on Craigslist of a person selling their tank that has Cichlids and a Turtle in it. Don't know anything about turtles. Any input on if this is even possible. Don't know what kind of turtle it is or what kind of cichlid. I email but got no response yet.

I wouldn't do that. My best Thai friend who now live in LA put the turtle inside the cichlid tank. The result is 3 legs turtle and a dead fish.

^^ I agree, it's a very bad idea to keep a turtle with cichlids. They are too aggressive.
