I bought a new flowerhorn yesterday and just as i transfered him to his new tank, he just sit at one corner, breifly swimming around then staying at another corner again. He's ignoring all the food. is he sick? what should i do? i turned off the power filter coz it's sucking him to the filter nozzle(he's just 2 inches), i just left the undergravel running.why's my FH not active? sad.gif

welcome to our forum!!!

ur fish is still adapting to its new environment.. please give it some time as it will get use to ur presence.. please spend more time with it and allow healthy water for it to swim in.

increase the temp to about 82-84 to increase its metabolism.. in a few days it will start eatting again.. u will want to start off slow.. maybe introduce some BLood worms.

ur fish is still in a stressfull prosition.. it will soon adapt.. u may want to keep the tank lights off and have some hiding areas for it..good luck and pump it up!!

Seems like your flower horn just need a little more time to adapt to its new environment. Hey, take a pic for us to see how it's doing right now.
